The Monsal Trail Cycle and eBike hire has been a valued supporter and sponsor of Team EITB with training advice and the loan of Mountain bikes for training through the Autumn and Winter of 2018/19.
Based at Hassop Station on the Monsal Trail, the shop hires a wide range of adult and kids cycles along with eBikes, tandems and trailers. At the Station there is also a cafe and gift shop, making it an ideal location for a family day out.
With bike hire from only £10 per bike, the unique Monsal Trail route from Bakewell to Blackwell through the Peak District National Park, is certainty something that all overseas and national visitors should experience on one of the shops quality cycles.
One of their Raleigh eBike's, modelled by Rachel Winder, is shown to the right. It made easy work of the very steep hills around Llangotten, Wales during Team EITB Coast to Coast Training for the British Heart Foundation in Feburary 2019.
Alongside their bike hire facility, the Monsal cycle shop also offer a full cycle servicing & repair workshop, open 7 days a week, 362 days a year! Check them out .... the people there are excellent and it is genuinely a great place to visit.

Whilst cycling on the Monsal Cycle Trail and in/around Bakewell take the opportunity to relax and take some excellent food and refreshments at the Hassop Station Cafe.
HASSOP STATION CAFE
The spacious, elegant Old Station building is complemented by a large sun terrace fronting the Monsal Trail for balmy sunny days and outside dining.
They also boast a large outdoor covered seating area with Wendy Houses to keep the little ones entertained, and any dog walkers dry!
